Like an invasive species filling the crooks and crannies of existence, AI is all around us. The effects are unclear, but what is certain is that they will be sweeping and profound. So where, exactly, is AI’s footprint in the cannabis industry?

MJBizDaily took a peak into this issue and found some concrete examples of AI changing every facet of the business.

From automated kiosks to robots sorting cannabis shipments, the potential for disruption is huge. These two methods haven’t been deployed on any mass scale, but companies like Life is Chill in Arizona are experimenting with the technology.

No need to room to manuever the space. It would be a tetris game full of automated robots fit nice and snug.

It doesn’t seem likely that budtenders will be replaced any time soon. In a field that requires so much customization of a product, a person handy to answer any and all questions and steer you in the right direction is essential to the business. Back of house operations, on the other hand, may be the first to go.
