New Cannabis Ad Strategically Trying to Get Trump to Act

Starting the tech companies who have donated and appeared at the inauguration, it’s clear people are catching on to what works in order to get Trump’s attention. The key ingredient is flattery.

That seems to be the method of a Political Action Committee who have just released an ad that blasts Biden as the “deep-state” and treats Trump like a lone shining light within all the darkness.

The American Rights and Reform PAC released an ad titled “DEA Deep State” that ties Biden to his DEA that certainly curtailed the rescheduling process that went from last year into early this year.

It then pivots to our savior, Donald Trump. “President Donald Trump has beat the deep state before, and now Trump can finish what he started by leading the fight to reschedule cannabis and expand research and access to care.”

It’s a wise move for the cannabis industry to flatter Trump into action. So far, he has been content to leave marijuana in it’s strange state/federal limbo. But if it becomes an issue in which he can contrast himself from his predecessor, that’s a potential way to sway him into action.

We’ll see if any of this ends up working. Check out the ad below.
