Wiz Khalifa, the ultra-famous rapper and cannabis entrepreneur, is setting his sights on new horizons as his cannabis brand, Khalifa Kush, prepares to break into the European market. In an exclusive interview, Wiz reflects on the current state of cannabis legalization, remarking, “When cannabis is regulated, it only helps, it doesn’t hurt. We’re past that point. This isn’t the Stone Age; it’s the Stoned Age.”

For Wiz, cannabis isn’t just a product—it’s been an essential part of his lifestyle and creativity since his early days in the music industry. Growing up in studios filled with musicians who smoked while they created, cannabis became intertwined with his creative process. “That’s all I’ve ever been around: smoking and creating,” he says, recalling his youth and the community that formed around music and weed. As Wiz’s career blossomed, so did his connection to cannabis, eventually leading to the launch of his brand, Khalifa Kush, about a decade ago.

Khalifa Kush is now synonymous with premium cannabis, known for its strong OG strain and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences. The brand is taking a significant step by entering the German market through a partnership with Sanity Group, a leading medical cannabis company in Germany. The deal marks a key moment in the brand’s global expansion, with Wiz noting that the German market’s strict regulations and Sanity Group’s dedication to quality made it the perfect fit for Khalifa Kush.

“We’ve had our eye on the German market for a few years now,” says DJ Saul, CEO of Khalifa Kush. With Germany’s cannabis market projected to reach €1.7 billion by 2025, Khalifa Kush’s move into the country represents both a business opportunity and a chance to set a standard for cannabis quality worldwide.

Wiz Khalifa’s focus, however, remains centered on more than just the bottom line. “The goal is to have people rely on and depend on an assortment of Khalifa Kush products instead of smoking bullsh*t,” he says, emphasizing his commitment to spreading a positive message about cannabis globally.
