Le’Veon Bell has admitted that he used to smoke weed before each of his NFL games. According to Bell, he was proud of his performance while on cannabis saying, “Looking back on this, that’s what I did…When I was playing football, I smoked, bro. Even before the games, I’d smoke and I’d go out there and run for 150, two (touchdowns).”
Le’Veon Bell is known for his stellar performances on the Steelers from 2013-2017 with a gap year in 2018. Bell then moved to the New York Jets in 2019 and briefly played in 2020. Since then, Bell has been a free agent moving from team to team. This includes a stint with the Chief’s in a few playoff games, the Baltimore ravens, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Throughout his career Bell has played 96 NFL games and has started in 81 of them. He ran 1,595 times for over 6,500 yards with 42 touchdowns. Bell is unsure where he will land next due to his free agent status. But although his future in the NFL is uncertain, Bell has explained that he will continue to smoke marijuana before games and in his free time.
